The 19th Regional Conference of Dermatology (Asian-Australasian) is expected to be attended by 1500 dermatologists, trainees and allied healthcare professionals from Malaysia and the Asian-Australasian region. This is the premier dermatology event in the region for the year 2010.

This event provides a unique opportunity for dermatology-related industry to meet with key opinion leaders and the general fraternity of dermatology in the region. The proven scientific program traditionally attracts keen participation in the field clinical dermatology and now also provides extensive tracks on cosmetic dermatology, lasers and skin care for those with special interest in cosmetic dermatology. This event will also feature the 2nd Annual Meeting of the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and the 35th Annual Meeting of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia.

For more than three decades, the RCD which is held once every two years is well attended by top dermatologists of the region and has also served as a key training and teaching platform for trainees and young dermatologists since 1974. A special ceremony for the conferment of Foundation Fellows of the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology will also be held in conjunction with the meeting.

The exclusive Magellan and Pacific Sutera Hotels located at Sutera Harbour will provide the ideal ambience for a quality international scientific event of this stature. Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the state of Sabah on the island of Borneo, is easily accessible by direct air flights from many major Asian cities.

The Organising Committee invites companies who wish to raise their profile with dermatologist from the region to discuss sponsorship opportunities. Allocation of sponsorship privileges and booths will be based on a first-come first-serve basis. The Organising Committee reserves the right to reassign or relocate exhibitors to ensure smooth administration and flow of the exhibition.

In addition to the standard sponsorship packages, the Organising Committee reserves the right to vary the terms, conditions and benefits of specific sponsorships to meet with the special requirements of individual companies.
